Rapid Prototyping

At A. Hopf GmbH, prototyping can also be realized by 3-D printing. Within the development department of the mould shop, we also create visual demonstrative CAD models, which are the base for further development processes. Also existing CAD data of the customer can be transferred into a 3-D model made of ABS. This supports the Marketing and Sales departments to assess the functionality and the design of a product during the development phase and the further production steps, before the mould is built. Thereby, in many cases, the creation of a more cost intensive pilot tooling can be avoided.
